Representation of settlement service providers is a core part of our practice.  The Firm provides corporate and regulatory compliance legal services to title insurance and escrow companies, real estate brokers and salespersons, home builders and general insurance companies. Nathan C. Wright has nearly 20 years experience in representing settlement service providers in the formation and operation of affiliated business arrangements and other business relationships in accordance with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act of 1974, as amended, and its implementing regulations (RESPA).   He has successfully negotiated and documented dozens of affiliated business arrangements between and among mortgage lenders, title insurance and escrow companies, real estate brokers and salespersons, home builders, and general insurance agencies.

Title Insurance and Escrow Companies

The Firm advises title insurance and escrow companies on a wide range of corporate and regulatory compliance issues. We assess state licensing requirements and obtain required licenses. We also assist title insurance and escrow companies to establish and operate affiliated business arrangements and other relationships with settlement services providers.

Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons

The Firm advises real estate brokerage firms and salespersons on a wide range of corporate and regulatory compliance issues. We assess state licensing requirements and obtain required licenses.  We also assist real estate brokers and salespersons to establish affiliated business relationships and other relationships with settlement services providers.

Home Builders

The Firm assists home builders to establish affiliated business relationships and other relationships with settlement services providers.

Insurance

The Firm assists general insurance companies to establish affiliated business relationships and other relationships with settlement services providers.
